Ed is a director of Connect Capital Solutions. He has over 30 years’ experience and expertise in mortgages, securities law and property law, including property development and commercial leasing. Throughout this time, Ed has developed close working relationships with the valuers on his panel and a wide network of referrers (including mortgage brokers, financial planners, accountants, lawyers, real estate agents and developers).

Ed’s reputation has been built on providing an honest and straight forward response in a professional and prompt manner.

Prior to the establishment of Connect Capital Solutions, Ed was solely responsible for managing Cornwall Stodart’s direct mortgage lending practice, Victoria’s largest solicitors’ direct mortgage lending practice. This consisted of mortgages totalling over $120 million.

Ed is supported in all aspects of the business by his experienced and efficient team.

Paul started his career as a mining engineer before transitioning to the finance industry. Since then, he has over 24 years of finance experience in General Manager and CEO roles. Paul is experienced in building sustainable businesses based on high levels of customer, partner and staff engagement through implementing new products, origination channels, risk management and innovative system solutions. Paul has completed and integrated multiple mergers and acquisitions as part of targeted growth strategies.

Paul has proven executive and leadership experience in growing, developing and building funding businesses and will focus on CCS’s growth strategy.

Emmanuel has an MBA from Victoria University and is a qualified CPA. Emmanuel has 17 years of experience with Allianz, GE, Suncorp and ThornMoney, focusing on credit, operations, collections and recovery.

Emmanuel’s expertise in credit, post-settlement and deal lifecycle management ensures that CCS’s clients are supported through all the stages of an investment. Emmanuel’s background will be key in attracting new funding facilities, ensuring that Connect Capital Solutions continues to grow and thrive.

Michael has a Bachelor of Actuarial Studies with a Major in Finance, a Diploma of Financial Services, and credit management qualifications. Within the Finance industry, Michael has significant exposure in strategy development and implementation, commercial and technical product management, and an extensive history in complex financial modelling and analysis.

Michael takes a hands-on approach in shaping and executing strategy, product innovation, and technology at CCS. He thrives on translating detailed feedback from key partners into actionable data, ensuring that product offerings not only meet market needs but also evolve with industry trends. His primary focus is on creating solutions that address real-world challenges identified through close collaboration with brokers, borrowers and funding partners.

With extensive experience in mortgage administration, Corina Coxhead is an integral part of Connect Capital Solutions. Her expertise in managing complex mortgage processes ensures smooth and efficient operations. Corina’s meticulous attention to detail and proactive approach are vital in optimising our credit, settlements, and overall administration. Her contributions are essential in maintaining our high service standards and supporting the expansion of our investment opportunities.
